Tutoring

From January 2016, I have been working for the Permaculture Association (Britain) as a tutor on the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design. ​


My design interests include: 

Upland farming

2017 Dales Diploma Days  

I'm really pleased to announce a programme of (Yorkshire) Dales Diploma Days over the next few months, for anyone doing the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design. These will take place at two different locations on a variety of days,  with the aim of being as accessible to as many Diploma apprentices in the area as possible.

Personal Tutor Role

As your personal tutor, I will support you with the following tutorials: 
Induction
Four Personal Tutorials (each one hour long)
Interim Portfolio Assessment 
​Final Portfolio Assessment

 Technical Tutorials 

I can offer technical tutorials on a wide range of subjects listed in my 'Design Interests' above.  Again, these can be held either on a one-to-one basis or with a group. Technical tutorials are priced at £30/hr.

Design Support Tutorials

Two Design Support Tutorials (each two hours long) are included as part of the 'Supported Plus' diploma route.

Design Support Tutorials are also are available for £30/hr if you are on the 'Independent' route or if you need an extra tutorial on the 'Supported' route.

These Tutorials can either be held on a one-to-one basis with your tutor or can be held with a group of apprentices. A tutor giving a Design Support Tutorial does not have to be your personal tutor.
